LFC, RHAT and QQQQ

LFC is building a tight base nicely It may break out again.


RHAT continues to its move and it’s at the edge of breaking out. I have almost completed my scaling out. I left some money on the table as I underestimated the strength of current move, but I had to lock in some profits when it’s more than 100%! I still hold a few calls on Dec 12.5 (deep ITM) and Dec 15 (ITM).


QQQQ (its ticker was changed after moving to NASDAQ from AMEX) is at its 3-year high (the comment in the chart was wrong after looking it more carefully) right now although it has not made much move during these four long years! Looking back at those dot com booming years, there is still a long way to go back to its old glory. I should’ve not sold my QQQQ Dec 39 calls though. I’m always nervious when it’s at peak and worried about it’s topping. To work around it, I choose to scale in/out in multiple lots.

I ordered a Carpenters Gold – 35th Anniversary Edition CD set for my wife as Christmas gift from amazon.com. Both of us love Karen Carpenter’s songs very much. I first heard her songs on cassette in 1983 the year she died (Feb 4, 1983). There was no Internet then, we had limited access to the world, mostly through short-wave radio or some printed media. So I knew very little about herself other than her crystal clear, amazingly beautiful voice, and wonderful melodies.

Unlocking Sony Ericsson T610

I bought a terminator dongle on EBay to unlock my SE T610 cell phone. The first trial failed since the software didn’t work on Windows 2003 Server. I got “Phone Not Power Up” error. Then I tried DIV4 from the instruction and got “Error 101”. I switched to my laptop and it worked nicely. So I unlocked the phone and flashed it with new firmware R4C003 US3 and Standard Modem R4C003. Lastly I un-branded it so it has the OEM version of everything.

During the flashing process, my laptop lost power due to used up battery:-( Luckily, everything was fine eventually. Now I have the latest firmware R6B and finally get rid of those “predefined contents” that I could not delete previously. The free memory is about 2.7MB now.
